My Pain is Kept in a Screwed Shut Wooden Box In A Storage Facility That I Don't Pay The Rent To / The Unstoppable Rise of Aesthetic Perfectionism
7'' Vinyl EP
Released October 03, 2007
$5.00 postage paid
Recorded in April of 2007, "I Keep My Pain Locked Away In A Wooden Screwed Shut Box In A Storage Unit That I Don't Pay The Rent To"/"The Unstoppable Rise of Aesthetic Perfectionism" finds Andy Ortmann joined by Seth Sher (Coughs, Oakeater). Panicsville redefine conceptions of noise and structure on the A-side of the record through their utilization of tape manipulation and percussive objects, and deliver a meticulously calculated arrangement which escalates in intensity from start to finish on "The Unstoppable Rise of Aesthetic Perfectionism". Pressed to a run of 100 copies on hot pink vinyl, cover art for this release was created by New York based artist Nate Hill (http://stoproadkill.org/) and photographed by Lucy Hamblin. Both selections on this record are mastered for optimum sound.
